Santa is riding through Weddington on Saturday, November 21 escorted by Mayor Callis and Miss Union County Christmas Parade Ally McNair! Here is the route he will be taking on one of the Wesley Chapel VFD Firetrucks and here is a map with approximate times he will be in some of the neighborhoods. Come out and catch some Christmas Spirit along the route!

The Town will host a drive up/drop off shredding event on Saturday September 19 from noon to 3 p.m. at Town Hall.

Fourteen states and one US territory will hold their primary elections today. If you haven't already done so in the early voting process, go vote!

The Town of Weddington is hosting the annual Litter Sweep on April 25 starting at 8 a.m. Volunteers are needed! Meet at Town Hall located at 1924 Weddington Road. Trash bags, gloves, and safety vests will be provided. There will be free coffee and donuts and a prize for the most unusual piece of trash!

Truliant Federal Credit Union is sponsoring an onsite shredding event in the Town Hall parking lot from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. Bring your sensitive documents and get them disposed of properly!
