Weddington is pleased to announce the creation of a Park and Events Advisory Board, a new volunteer board dedicated to supporting community events and promoting community engagement.

The Town of Weddington Park and Events Advisory Board will work to bring the community together, encourage connection, and build pride in Weddington. This will be accomplished by supporting community events and programs that enhance quality of life for residents, visitors, and future generations.

The Board will be comprised of 7 Weddington Residents that will meet once a month and work collaboratively to help plan and support community events and encourage community engagement and use of public spaces. Residents with an interest in community-building are encouraged to get involved. This committee is a great opportunity to share ideas, contribute to local initiatives, and help shape vibrant, welcoming spaces for everyone.
