VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! The Town of Weddington is seeking volunteers to participate in the Spring 2019 Litter Sweep Campaign. This bi-annual litter sweep is a roadside litter clean-up sponsored by the Town of Weddington. It is scheduled for SATURDAY APRIL 6, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. Interested volunteers and community groups are asked to meet at the Weddington Town Hall, 1924 Weddington Road. Trash bags, gloves, and orange safety vests will be provided. Coffee and donuts will be served. There will be two drawings for the most unusual trash items collected.

The Town is also hosting a SHREDDING EVENT from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, free of charge! Bring your sensitive documents to Town Hall to be shredded on the spot free of charge!
