VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR NOVEMBER MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
The voter registration deadline for the November 5, 2019 Municipal Elections is Friday, October 11. Voter registration applications that are received by the county board of elections office or postmarked by the deadline are accepted as valid applications for the upcoming election. To register to vote in North Carolina, a prospective voter must meet all of the following qualifications:
Mark your calendars for Friday, November 22, 2019 for the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. The event will run from 5-9 p.m. with a countdown to the lighting of the tree between 7 and 7:15. Entertainment will feature local choral groups, a balloon artist, food trucks and free cookies and cocoa! Come enjoy the spirit of the season with your neighbors!
The Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO) is in the process of developing future transportation projects for Iredell, Mecklenburg and Union counties, and is requesting resident input on potential transportation priorities.
