NCDOT is conducting an update to its long-range transportation plan to help guide North Carolina's future transportation policies and investments. Called NC Moves 2050, the plan provides a 30-year transportation blueprint for the state. Two seats on the Town Of Weddington Planning Board are expiring on December 31, 2019. If you are interested in serving the Town, information about the Planning Board can be found here: https://www.townofweddington.com/planning-board. Planning Board members also serve on the Town’s Historic Preservation Commission and Board of Adjustment.
VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR NOVEMBER MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
The voter registration deadline for the November 5, 2019 Municipal Elections is Friday, October 11. Voter registration applications that are received by the county board of elections office or postmarked by the deadline are accepted as valid applications for the upcoming election. To register to vote in North Carolina, a prospective voter must meet all of the following qualifications:
