The Town of Weddington and the Village of Marvin are seeking proposals from qualified service providers for solid waste collection and related services. The intent of this RFP is to lead separate service agreements between the selected providers and each municipality. The companies responding to the RFP will be bound through a contract to the terms and conditions listed in this RFP and the winning bidder will be required to perform the services listed in the RFP and will include all facilities, labor, materials, equipment, and necessary supplies to do so.

May 7, 2021: RFP submittal deadline

June 8, 2021: Presentation to Marvin Village Council

June 14, 2021: Presentation to Weddington Town Council

June 15-September 1, 2021: Contract Negotiations/Finalization

September 15, 2021: Contract Start Day

March 14, 2022: First Day of Service
