Fines for Excessive Residential & Commercial False Burglar Alarms are as Follows:
First Two False Alarms are Free per calendar Year.
3rd through 5th $50.00 per occurrence
6th and 7th $100.00 per occurrence
8th and 9th $250.00 per occurrence
10th and over $500.00 per occurrence
Fee for Not Registering your Alarm System are as follows:
Any person who fails to obtain a permit required in the preceding paragraph shall subject such person to a civil penalty of $50.00 dollars for each day they fail to obtain such a permit. Each day a person fails to obtain a permit required herein is a separate offense and is subject to a separate civil penalty provided herein. The civil penalty provided herein is recoverable by the Town in a civil action in the nature of debt if the offender does not pay the civil penalty within 30 days after being cited for violation of this provision of the Ordinance.
